The Armstrong's and I had 38 Pine Siskins (flocks of 30 and 8) feeding out in the prairie at Neal Smith NWR this morning. The large flock was hanging out near the bison. That's not a combination you see every day. We didn't find any Smith's Longspurs, although one was seen there Saturday.
