So is it correct to say juvenile rather juvenal? Thought I would gooble it and got several discourses on this subject as it pertains to young birds and ornithology. Not sure of the answer after all that reading. :-) God Bless,

We stopped by to see Anna's Mom at Primrose Assisted Living (ne postion of Council Bluffs. As we ate our lunch outside we spotted an immature Golden Eagle. Strangely, to me anyway, it was heading NE and gaining altitude. It will be interesting to see if Hitchcock reports a Golden Eagle today. On the down side was the Red-throated Loon at Red Rock I will have to see some other day (I need that bird of my year list). Good birding to you all. Be back November 1st.
