Hi,
Later this afternoon I took a few minutes to check some pine
trees in the southern part of Moorhead Park.
We found a second Saw-whet Owl in the park, a long distance from
the pine grove in the Northern part of the park
where we find the first one a couple days ago.
It is clear to us that the Saw-whet owl migration, is well under
way.
Moorehead Park, is just west of Ida Grove, on the North side of
Hwy. 59 / 175, as you cross the Maple River heading west from town.
