The Goldfinches have returned this week. Today the 12 Pine Siskins came in with the 42 Goldfinches for morning snacks. First they fed on the ground, but then moved into the empty dog kennel with a net over the top and fed on the ground there. We added the Pine Siskins to the county list. This is a first time seeing Siskins for me as well as the Red Breasted Nuthatch that came by last weekend.
