Things were relatively quiet on Spirit Lake today with a couple of loons, Horned Grebe and the regular diving ducks. At Millers Bay on West Lake Okoboji there was an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull lounging with many Ring-billed and a couple of Herring Gulls. Siskins and Red-breasted Nuthatches are coming regularly to Nancy's feeders in the backyard.
