Birders,

This morning at 10 am there was a first year Glaucous Gull sitting in the
parking lot on the northwest side of Lake Manawa (Pottawattamie). This
afternoon around 2 o'clock we saw the adult Lesser Black-backed Gull there, but
not the Glaucous Gull. We also saw a Pileated Woodpecker in the trees on the
south side of the lake. On the lake we had a female Common Merganser and a
pair of Hooded Mergansers.
