The bird feeders are full but no visitors so far this morning. On Tuesday, hundreds of starlings landed in the back yard to "graze" among the grass leaves for a few minutes before moving on. Had never seen that many in the neighborhood before.
Just put up the first bird post on our blog about our photo trip to Botswana the first two weeks of December. The Carmine Bee-eaters were as glorious as described. With them were a group of Fish Eagles also catching termites. Will do a post about that later.
