Immediately south of Sioux Jersey Dairy, North of the rounded corner of 280 & Dallas was a male (mature?) snowy owl. Seen at 4 and again at sunset.
In the section to the SW was what I am assuming is a very pale great horned owl. poor photos from a great distance at: https://picasaweb.google.com/101418172590111100208/ChristmasBirdsAnd?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCJjTttqR4ILdggE&feat=directlink you might have to unwrap the addy... I did not see any SE owls at Owego and I was there for the 1/2 hour before sunset.
