My first bird of 2013 came just before dawn. I was in bed and looking out my window to the west where the moon was slowly falling over the horizon.A flock of 20 crows, about 40 feet above, flew from east to west, across the moon. Very cool!

To this end, he put on a blindfold and was led to an owl roosting site, whereupon he achieved his goal. > > Taking a page from Lee's playbook I donned a blindfold this AM and set out. Almost immediately I discovered the hazards of driving and texting while blindfolded, colliding with an oncoming bridge abutment. Off with the blindfold. First bird of 2013?
