TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19TH PROGRAM, 7 PM Photo-safari to Botswana by Ty Smedes
Ty Smedes has made six trips to Africa, but his December 2012 photo-safari to Botswana was absolutely mesmerizing. If you would like to view images of Africa in a very intimate way, and see birds and mammals with young, catching prey, and interacting in fascinating ways, come to Ty's presentation on Tuesday, February 19th. Meetings of Des Moines Audubon Society begin at 7 p.m. and are held in the lower level of Westminster Presbyterian Church, which is located at the corner of Beaver and Franklin Avenues in Des Moines. Parking is available on the north and west sides of the church and an elevator can be accessed at the west door.
