While we've had at our feeders all winter plentiful numbers of finches and
siskins, chickadees, titmice and white-breasted nuthatches, I've observed
the following just showing up one at a time:
- Red-breasted nuthatch
- Carolina wren
- Red-headed woodpecker
- Brown creeper

Meanwhile, a pair of Pileated woodpeckers has been making frequent
appearances in nearby trees, and wild turkey numbers are steady at about
19. They come running like a flock of chickens when I go out to fill the
feeders.

Now, off to see if we can find the snow bunting-longspur-lark flock near
the airport!
