On top of other Spring activities, I've noted increased vocalization and territorial chasing happening in the population of Eurasian Collared-Doves in town. Even though we're expecting to see another 4 or so inches of snow tonight and tomorrow the collared-doves are ready get to business.
Also still remnants of the 30 individual flock are still at my feeders only a handful (four) were seen today. Even the subarctic birds are getting ready to go home it seems.
