I went out looking for a Song Sparrow. I could not find one. Nor could I
find Bluebirds. I did see a flock of 75 or more Lapland Longspurs, some
Horned Larks, and a couple of Kestrels. It is still slow up here as far as
anything other than waterfowl.

However I was nearly brought to tears of joy when seeing all the water and
ice now in the ponds up here. Zirbel Slough was full, the streams and
creeks are full. Some minor flooding will occur if it stays warm the next
couple of days. Fin and Feather south of town needs more water but is well
over half full again.

What joy! Water, water, water!!!!
