17 of us visited Bays Branch, Springbrook, and the south end of Lakin Slough in Guthrie County this morning. We ended up with 73 species, including 16 waterfowl. A Peregrine Falcon and nesting Great Horned Owl were good finds at Bays Branch. Springbrook had a nice assortment of Red-headed Woodpeckers, Brown Creepers, Yellow-rumped Warblers and both Kinglets. At least 15 Purple Finches are still at the feeders there.
