Grundy Co. Lake and then Little Wall Lake.
At Little Wall Lake, we saw the previously
reported RED-NECKED GREBE. At Grundy Co. Lake,
there was an EARED GREBE. In the Afternoon,
we checked out the flooded fields at Crane Creek
and Sweet Marsh. At Crane Creek, there were mostly
Yellow-Legs and Pecs. but among them were 6 Wilson's
Phalaropes. At Sweet Marsh we saw 3 MARBLED GODWITS,
a Swainson's Hawk, and 11 Sandhill Cranes.
