It was a cold and windy lunch hour at Wickiup Hill. The birds were there.
At the feeders were 4 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. At the marsh there were
abundant Swamp Sparrows and Marsh Wrens, one of which posed nicely (link
below). There were Yellow, Yellow-rumped and Common Yellothroats
representing the warblers. There were a Blue-headed Vireo and a Northern
Waterthrush. There was thrush (Gray-cheeked?) and dozens of
White-throated Sparrows. All told there were nearly 40 species in a short
lunch break.
