The RED_THROATED LOON reported by Jim Forde earlier was still present as
of around noon today. I scoped it from Sandy Beach. It appeared to be
about equi-distant from Sandy Beach, Twin View Hts., and Scales Point. It
is a long distance from any of those points and a scope is necessary to
view it.

It is quite a bit smaller that a common loon and swims with its bill
tilted upward.
