Before the rain got to be too much I had 13 species of warblers including at
least three Golden-winged, thrushes with a Wood Thrush trying to sing in the
rain and two Veery's. There were vireos and a Red-breasted Nuthatch, lots
of sparrows, and more. The park still looks a disaster with trees and limbs
down all over. The Barred Owl flew up from the huge downed Willow limb and
I thought maybe the Barred Owl's nest went down, but I could not see any
evidence of such.
