This is the second day that a Western Tanager (male) is coming into
feeders at the Willows, a retirement complex, on the west side of Mason
City off of Taft Avenue. The bird has been feeding at about five feeding
stations that have oranges and suet out. The outside perimeter drive is the
way to see this bird.

This complex is north of Mercy Hospital's West Campus.

At Clear Lake there were 62 Forester's Terns on a dock and 3 Caspian Terns.
Further on there were air-borne Forester's and nine Caspian Terns. A
Peregrine Falcon was seen on the south side of the lake.
