This morning at the Lake Rathbun dedication site and Island View was a nice selection of small shorebirds. The following are some of the better sightings: Cattle egret 33, Lesser Yellowlegs 2, Spotted 10, Ruddy Turnstone 1, Sanderling 1, Least 6, Semipalmated 2, White-rumped 4, Baird's 1, Pectoral 1, Dunlin 2, Franklin's Gull 20, Bonaparte's Gull 1, Caspian Tern 12, Common Tern 1, Foster's Tern 14, Bell's Vireo 2, and Great-tailed Grackle 2.
