Hello everyone, For those of you that will be attending the fall IOU meeting in Clinton, I wanted to remind you that we will once again be taking donations for the Silent Book Auction. This money is donated to our publications fund to help keep our operating costs low.
I know that all of us have a collection of books that we cherish. We all also have many long forgotten ones that have spent too much time sitting on your shelf or in a box somewhere. If you think you could part with a few and share them with someone else, bring them with you. Bring any books that pertain to nature (not just birds). Also any nature related gear, artwork, birdsong compilations, optics, etc... (Please refrain hauling up boxes of magazines, or old copies of IBL, we all have our own collections of those...) I missed the last meeting. At the previous fall meeting, I was essentially cleaned out. My stock of leftovers is very limited. So the success of this project will be dependent on your contributions. Please keep the silent auction in mind the next few weeks as you prepare for the fall IOU meeting. Thank you in advance for contributing to this cause.
