We made the annual pilgrimage to see the Tundra Swans along the river in NE
Iowa and SE Minnesota. Did a blog post about them. There were thousands but
not many young birds. I asked the naturalist talking with people at the
Brownsville overlook about it. She said she was hopeful that they would be
in the late migrators. Usually we see lots of family groups but not this
time.
