I went up to Pleasant Creek after a very memorable morning at Otter Creek.
I was unable to relocate the juv. Surf Scoter, however, the bird activity
was still very interesting.

There were 6+ Bald Eagles over the lake. The adults were dropping fish
near the dam and the juveniles would pick them up. It appeared like the
adults were trying to teach the youngsters how to catch fish. A couple of
the juveniles were also playing/locking talons in mid-air every now and
then.

There were 44 Common Loons on the lake! Additional species seen:

11 Red-breasted Merganser females in the middle of the lake
8 Common Goldeneye near dam
Ruddies, Horned Grebe, 40 Bonaparte's Gulls continued...
