I found a Snowy Owl just south of Grimes over my lunch hour today. The street names in that area have recently changed so it's hard to say exactly where the bird is. According to the street signs, the owl was standing on a ridge 0.3miles west of S. James St. on the south side of SW 19th St. South James St. is the main paved road coming south out of Grimes and SW 19th St is the first gravel road that goes off to the west.
