White pelicans made an appearance in Humboldt by the dam this week. Over 100 for sure. Yesterday they were nowhere to be seen so they must have moved on. Some other birds spotted in Humboldt during the past week: Palm warbler White-throated sparrows Fox sparrows Wood thrush numerous Yellow-rumped Warblers Ruby-crowned kinglets Sighted in Bradgate wildlife area: Great white egret Blue-gray Gnatcatcher Numerous Yellow-rumped Warblers
