This morning yet another PIPING PLOVER was at Hawkeye but this
one may not be banded. Its muddy legs, distance and windy conditions
made it difficult to tell. Also, a WILLET was in the same area along
Hwy. 965. Shorebird numbers were at their peak and diversity had
improved.
