At least a dozen Golden-winged Warblers were found around Lost Lake and
into the wildlife area past Lost Lake late this morning and early
afternoon, and a couple more on the north edge of Ledges State Park south
of Boone. The Golden-wings seemed to prefer hanging from leafed-out elm
branches and that's by far the most I've seen in one day.

I also saw a couple of Canada Warblers, lots of Wilson's and a singing
Cerulean Warbler - 19 warbler species in all. It was nice to just stand in
one place and wait for warblers to come by!
