A very good birding morning at Ledges State Park today, especially for
warblers. There were more redstarts than I've ever encountered in one
place, and it looks like there was also a very big fallout of Wilson's.
Here's my list from a 2.5 hour hike:
:
Tennessee (many)
Orange-crowned (2)
Yellow (8)
Chestnut-sided (2)
Magnolia (1)
Yellow-rumped (many)
Black-throated Green (1)
Blackburnian (1)
Black-and-white (1)
American Redstart (50+)
Ovenbird (2)
Northern Waterthrush (1)
Common Yellowthroat (7)
Wilson's (25+)
Canada (1)

Besides warblers, some other observations of note were a Pileated
Woodpecker, perhaps a dozen Least Flycatchers, 2 Blue-headed Vireos, and 5
Swainson's Thrushes.
