A trip out to Artesian Lake (also known as Lanesboro pond because Lanesboro is the nearest town) produced Yellow-headed Blackbird Red-winged Blackbird Canada Geese Mallard Blue-winged Teal American Coot Indigo Bunting Sora Lincoln's Sparrow Gray Catbird Flycatcher (not sure of species) Numerous Waterthrushes (not sure which one) Rose-breasted Grosbeak American Redstart Yellow-rumped Warbler A multitude of swallows And hundreds of Common Yellowthroats
On the way back to town, there were two Gray Partridge one mile south of Lidderdale. Both of these locations are in Carroll County.
