This morning Karla and I turned into our driveway and right in front of us a
Cooper's Hawk zipped past in pursuit of a bird which I think was one of our
juvenile Baltimore Orioles. The Oriole had about a three foot lead and it flew
though some weeds at the edge of our grove, the Cooper's Hawk folded it's wings
and shot right in after it, then both disappeared into the trees. I'm not sure
how it ended but it was amazing to watch the speed and agility of that hawk.
