We birded Lake Manawa, Pottawattamie, today and here are the highlights: Northern Shoveler - 22 Blue-winged Teal - approx. 400 Pied-billed Grebe - 5 American White Pelican - 1 on the lake; 200 flying over Double-crested Cormorant - 2 Franklin's Gull - approx. 75 Forster's Tern - 40 Black Tern - 10 Chimney Swift - 12 Swallow - 100's including Barn, Rough-winged and Tree
