The bird just took off on excursion, towards Polk City Wildlife Refuge, but
suspect it will return, as it seems, logically, hanging around a deer
carcus (no wolves here).  It is near the first of four large wood piles, on
the right, about 75 yds in (south) from the gate that they lock in winter.
The carcus is about 25 yds north of the woodpile.
