After seeing Ray's post about Longspurs, my family and I took a drive out to Errington Marsh. I saw pretty much nothing that Ray saw this morning. There were very few ducks present, with only 2 pairs of Bufflehead and Green-winged Teal noted. There were also no Smith's Longspurs or Rusty Blackbirds. I was able to find a lonely Brewer's Blackbird "singing", and I flushed a Short-eared Owl. Not bad consolation prizes.
