The Ospreys are back on their nesting platform at the north end of Jester Park on Saylorville Reservoir. In 2013, 2014 and now 2015, they have returned precisely on March 30th. As far as I can determine, they had not yet arrived here on March 29th of any of these years.
I was able to get a spectacular close view of an Osprey bringing a fish back to the nest, where it's mate was waiting. Well, that just stuck the final fork into winter for me!
