Yes. You can choose to boot from a CD by holding the C key before and for
the first few seconds after power-on.

Current steps for SoaS:


   1. Go to http://sugarlabs.org/go/Sugar_on_a_Stick
   2. Download the ISO
   3. Download ISO burning software
   4. Burn.
   5. (optionally) Fix BIOS
   6. Boot.
   7. Insert USB stick
   8. Tell the CD to install to a stick
   9. Reboot
   10. Fix BIOS again.
   11. Boot into SoaS.
