One screen, 20 mice. Pilot program. $2000 per classroom cited. Student target ages apparently 10-14. This journalist apparently has never seen Sugar or the OLPC, or he wouldn't repeat the tired accusation that OLPC is promoting Linux for idealogical reasons (even more tired when one considers the steps taken by them to offer a Windows XP option!). Microsoft innovation either by students or from MS India, take your pick: http://chronicle.com/wiredcampus/index.php?id=3756 http://www.expresscomputeronline.com/20090518/market02.shtml Interesting that the rollout is in southeast Asia, an area where OLPC has pilots but no large-scale projects yet if I'm not mistaken.
