Hi Rubén

Many thanks for asking about this... potential difficulties are best
avoided by discussion first :-)

I have cc'd the Sugar Labs e-mail alias for trademark questions
([email protected]).

Sugar Labs is indeed a registered trademark, although we are still
drafting our trademark policy (see
http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Sugar_Labs/Governance/Trademark and its
discussion page).

The SFLC, which handles legal questions for Sugar Labs, can give the
best response concerning our trademark usage.

>From a marketing standpoint, I don't see any difficulty at all using
our logo for a choice on a DVD boot screen or on a DVD label where
Sugar is present.

Christian - we had discussed an updated logo with the R mark in
mid-August, have you had a chance to work on that? It would be great
if we could update our logo pages and send one to Rubén.

thanks

Sean
