Hi all, Vikidia is a free encyclopedia for kids (~8-13), written by kids and adults together.
I'm familiar with the French version (http://fr.vikidia.org), which is doing quite well, with a strong community and regular contributors. The spanish Vikidia (http://es.vikidia.org) started about one year ago, and is still very fragile. They are looking for more exposure and more contributors around the world. I thought this project would be of interest to this mailing list, and to the OLPC Sur mailing list. I'd be glad if someone can pass on this information there :) I'm copying Alejandro, very active on the spanish Vikidia.
