Hi...
The speaker for this online event has been featured on TED. This could be
worthwhile. If you miss it live, it will probably be available online later.

The topic this Saturday, September 25th, will be the first
of a new ”Featured Teacher” series featuring classroom teachers who are using
technology and web tools innovatively to impact instruction. TEDx speaker Zoe
Branigan-Pipe will be the first teacher featured. Zoe will be giving an
overview of "Life as a networked teacher - in and out of the 6th grade
classroom". She will be talking about how technology has forced her to
transform her teaching to being a student centered classroom with a focus on
Big Ideas, Problem Solving and Inquiry Learning. She will also describe her
current projects (doing an online mentorship case study, working with the
Ministry of Education to pilot the Livescribe pen in education, preparing new
teachers for an "online" world, working through her theses about online and
organic learning. More information and session details are at
http://live.classroom20.com. You will not want to miss this webinar!
If you've never participated in a live webinar, don't be afraid to come and
