There was a small book in my father´s library, published in French, probably one hundred years ago, entirely dedicated to the theory of the plain old bicycle. It had many mathematical formulas and lots of physics concepts. It also had some good explanations I still remember. Many of us learned how to ride a bicycle and we never wondered how marvelous it is we can keep our balance on two wheels while our center of gravity is so high. Most of us never noticed we are constantly starting to fall, when we react, moving the handlebar a little bit, while we keep pedaling. We thus recover our balance just to start falling to the other side. When trying to learn Etoys I thought maybe someone would like to use it to study this basic question: How come we can ride a bicycle with only two wheels? Siendo niño, había en la biblioteca de mi padre un pequeño libro, publicado en Francés, tal vez hace unos cien años, dedicado totalmente a la teoría de la simple y vieja bicicleta. Tenía muchas fórmulas matemáticas y conceptos de física. Tenía también muy buenas explicaciones que aún recuerdo. La mayoría de nosotros aprendimos a andar en bicicleta y nunca más pensamos lo maravilloso que es que podamos mantener nuestro equilibrio sobre dos ruedas mientas nuestro centro de gravedad está tan alto. La mayoría de nosotros nunca notamos que constantemente estamos comenzando a caernos, cuando reaccionamos moviendo un poquito el manillar, mientras continuamos pedaleando. Recuperamos así nuestro equilibrio para comenzar a caernos hacia el otro lado. Al tratar de aprender Etoys, he pensado que tal vez a alguien lo desee usar para estudiar la pregunta básica: ¿Cómo es posible usar una bicicleta con solamente dos ruedas?
