Hi All, Since I know some of you are familiar with the great work by the CK-12 Foundation with their free, online, flexbook texts, I know you will be interested in all the new things they are doing now. If you aren't yet familiar with CK-12, I encourage you to check it out. While directed at older students at the start, they are slowly working their way down and are now doing some books for the middle school level. All are open source, as are the diagrams and photos that come with them. Thus, even if your target audience is younger or is not a group of English (or for some flexbooks Spanish) speakers, you can still make use of the fine illustrations they have in any translations or adaptations you may decide to use. Check it out! I think you will be impressed. Caryl
