There are also innovative ways of using tablets in a meaningful pedagogical
practices. We have done some research on mobile/tablet apps for reflection in
collaborative learning projects[1]. The results are promising but the app
prototypes developed for and used in are very different than 99,9 of the
education apps in the market.
When working with teachers in a MOOC, where we have helped them to bring coding
to their teaching, we also have found that the ScratchJr on tablet works very
well with the 5-7 year old children.
