Thanks for your input Tymon, However i perfectly understand that Sugar Labs is NGO.. And also getting a Schengen visa is also hard too. But also, bare in mind that before leaving any country, you have to show prove of paying for your flight and stay in the arrival country which in this case is france. I also made calls with the french embassy, we know what we are facing. We already reached out to the people inviting us from france about some documentations and bank statements since we are invited. Even the 30,000 euros health insurance is been taken care of by the team in France.
If $2,800 is alot of money for the community as most people said. It is fine, i just wish you can come stay in Nigeria for a week then make travel arrangement. I will keep reaching and helping this community in the best way i can, after all i went to Nairobi without Sugar Labs support. which i happen to spend more than i expected before of the foreign exchange rate. I hate repeating myself.. So i will stop replying any questions that is already answered concerning this motion. Like i said, it is up to the community to decide how Sugar Labs runs. i want to thank everyone who voted and made some comments but now, i think i am done talking. FYI, i am not mad or angry, but somehow surprise but not totally not surprised.
