COURSE ON SEISMIC MULTIATTRIBUTES ANALYSIS FOR PLAYS AND PROSPECTS
EVALUATION

Date & Venue
The Course will be held on 29 September to 3 October 2003 at Holiday Inn
Hotel - Bandung.

About the Course

Seismic attributes is defined as all of the measured, computed or implied
quantities obtained from the seismic data. Nowadays, seismic attribute
technology has dramatically advanced in several directions, ranging from
single-trace instantaneous event attribute to multitrace windowed seismic
event attribute. Proper uses of seismic attribute can extract information
from seismic data that is otherwise hidden and will enhance the capability
of predicting, characterizing and monitoring hydrocarbon reservoirs. In this
rigorous workshop, participants learn and apply seismic attribute to analyze
various hydrocarbon fields representing a variety of rock types, structural
styles and tectonic settings worldwide. The Course comprises of
approximately 40% theory and 60% workshops. The problem-set packages covers
domestic as well as non-domestic areas
