Pekan kemaren di milist HAGI aku posting soal kemajuan seismic processing (computing), saat ini di HAGI diskusi soal akuisisi. Semua menjadi murah, semua menjadi cepat.
Yang jangan sampai dilupakan adalah "the mind". Jangan sampai terkesima dengan harga dan kecanggihan teknologi. Pada tahun 1954 di AAPG bulletin ada sebuah artikel menarik di Explorer 2004, isinya ttg kekhawatiran kemajuan teknologi ini. Tulisan dibawah mengingatkan kita untuk selalu menggunaan keilmuan dasar dalam mengantisipasi, menggunakan (mamanfaatkan) nya, terutama ketika mendidik, mengajar generasi penerus nantinya. Wah aku kok trus serius sih ... mestinya hari jum'at kan nyantei ....
