Dear All,
Due to popular demand, the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) will
conduct again this a short course entitled "3-D Seismic Interpretation
Techniques". The course will be held in Bali from August 8-12, 2005 and
will be taught by Alistair Brown, a well known consulting geophysicist
from the United States. He has taught this timely course around the
world and received excellent reviews.
Dr. Brown is also AAPG distinguished lecturer and author of the best
selling AAPG memoir "Interpretation of Three-Dimensional Seismic Data". A
copy of the latest edition (sixth edition, 2004) of this book will be
provided to delegates as part of the course.
The course teaches the techniques best suited to interpretation of 3-D
data, including recent development. Whether the data set is use for
field scale appraisal and development or for regional reconnaissance,
this course will help optimize the geophysical interpretations.
For the past four years that IPA conducted this course twice a year, it
was always oversubscribed. To make it effective, the number of
participants will be limited to 24, so your earliest registration is highly
recommended to secure your
place on this course. The course fee is US$ 1,850 for IPA Members and
US$ 1,950 for non- IPA Members (includes: hotel accommodationfor 6
nights).
