Presentations from India, Pakistan, the Middle East, Africa, and Australia figure prominently in the resource assessment of the area. A session titled Western Australian Basins Symposium (WABS) will focus on the resources in our host State of Western Australia. Since this will be the premier petroleum geotechnical event in the Asia-Pacific Region, a second major theme will be the exploration and development highlights from China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, New Zealand, and the Philippines.
