tanggapan untuk jawaban gak serius: sailing boats are somewhat tricky: mungkin kapalnya mau maju ke kanan (let's say East), tapi angin juga datang dari E, jadi layarnya akan teritup ke belakang (W). kalau mau maju full speed harusnya membelakangi arah angin.. kalau mau ke arah datangnya angin (sesuai tujuan yang diinginkan) harus cukup sigap, harus bisa zigzag +-45derajat terhadap datangnya angin (zigzag NE dan SE).. kalo ngotot lurus kearah E tanpa mesin, di sini ada frase yang sedang populer : "MOAL MAJU..." jadi mau terus ke E pelan-pelan, atau balik arah ke W (going where the wind blows) agar ngebut dan "tanpa kesulitan"? salam, .heru the sailorman - jagonya masalah tanggapan ga serius -.
