Kalo paper saya gak punya. Ini adalah hasil diskusi saat kerja (sekalian
mohon dikoreksi kalo ada yang kurang). Mudahnya kalau kita ingin yakin gas
apa yang terkandung dalam batuan (batubara) adalah dengan melihat gas
chromatogram (C1 - C5) yang dikonfirmasi dengan data cutting (jenis litologi
dari gas yang keluar). Jadi, kurva resistivity kita cocokkan dengan gas
chromatogram. Tapi lihat juga calipernya (lubang gerowong bisa bikin
resistivity tinggi).
Kalau ada gas lain dari penafsiran resistivity, saya pikir itu bisa kita
lihat lagi dari tatanan geologinya, seperti kalau ada devolatisasi akibat
intrusi maka apakah dari sumur yang kita mainkan memang wilayah permainan
kita dekat dengan intrusi? Tentu saja akan lebih valid jika kita dapat data
dari in-situ measurement mengenai jenis dan kuantitas gas-nya (seperti yg
Pak Noel pernah tulis).
Mudah-mudahan jawabannya bisa ngebantu...

Pak Yudi, saya tertarik dgn metoda/cara mengetahui/mengukur adanya gas
pada lapisan batubara dari kurva resistivity. Kalau boleh bisa dirujuk
judul buku/paper atau tautanya di internet? Terus terang sdh hampir 2
thn saya mencarinya namun belum pernah ketemu.
Kalau dari yg saya pernah alami, perbedaan nilai resistivity pada gbr
tsb. bisa diartikan macam-macam, mis. adanya devolatisasi (hilangnya
zat terbang) akibat intrusi, oksidasi, dll.
Dibawah saya kopikan keterangan dari salah satu jasa konsultan CBM di
website-nya yg pernah juga coba dihubungi.

batubara kisarannya 1.3 - 1.7 atau termasuk batuan yang ringan),
sementara
kalau ingin tahu apakah adanya gas atau tidak kita lihat saja
resistivitynya
(seperti gambar yang diberikan oleh rekan Bayu). Kalau Gamma Ray bisa
rendah
atau tinggi, karena ternyata coaly shale sekalipun bisa menghasilkan
