Ada value yang menarik dalam local wisdom ini, salah satu awalnya dulu
tercetus ketika kita sadar bawa saudara-saudara kita di Pulau Simeulue yang
"aman" dari tsunami karena mengetahui bumi tempat berpijak. Didaerah yang
banyak bencana "disaster prone area" di Jawa ini kadang "mengkhawatirkan"
karena adanya generation gap diantara kejadian-kejadian bencana ini. Contoh
gempa di Jawa ini selangnya 40-50 bahkan 100 tahunan dimana banyak generasi
yang tidak "mewariskan" pengalamannya kepada generasi berikutnya
("generation gap").
Cara yang paling tepat saat ini hanyalah menuliskan segala bentuk pengalaman
kita buat generasi penerus.
